Installment Loan Contract

Consumer lenders dress their contracts the way mints dress banknotes: fine engraved linework that is easy to recognize and hard to counterfeit. This is a complete contrat de prêt à tempérament — the installment loan contract a French-Canadian consumer lender issues — wrapped edge to edge in that tradition, issued by a fictional lender, Financière Boréale inc.

  • Full-bleed guilloche security decor. Two hundred and twenty fine strands in two Bézier families sweep over a stepped gradient wash and run to all four page edges — page margins are zero, and the body text keeps clear of the engraving through style-margin insets alone.
  • A true recto/verso document. Section breaks alternate the page dress: the verso page mirrors the guilloche to the left and moves the letterhead to the right, so a double-sided print binds the way a real contract booklet does.
  • Financial disclosure done properly. A terms summary (capital, nominal rate, payment, term, first due date) and an amortization extract share one table identity — French decimal commas, thin green grid, right-aligned money columns — and the numbers reconcile line by line.
  • A letterhead drawn, not pasted. The aurora-and-spruce mark, wordmark and hairline rule are vector shapes and text in the page header — no image assets, retintable from the style sheet.
  • An electronic signature block. Script-font signatures over printed names and titles, advanced-e-signature evidence lines and document hashes set in OCR type — the closing page a signed original actually carries.

One JSON definition produces the PDF and the Word document from the same source, decor and all.
