Invoice — es-MX (Mexico)
A CFDI 4.0 — Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet — issued by a Mexico City logistics firm. Tax (IVA 16%), currency (MXN with $292,494.00 formatting), date format (28 de marzo de 2026), and the full SAT machinery: RFC (issuer + receiver), Régimen Fiscal, Uso CFDI, sello digital, número de certificado, cadena original, and the regulatory-mandated QR code that Mexican accounts-payable systems scan to verify the invoice at sat.gob.mx.
Features used: Page Setup, Styles, Data Injection, Tables (data-driven), Inline Tags, Canvas, Barcodes (QR — required by SAT Anexo 20).
Why QR here, and not on the other locale invoices: QR is overused on commercial invoices generally — it doesn't differentiate. But the Mexican CFDI 4.0 specification requires a QR code carrying the issuer RFC, receiver RFC, total, and UUID, so the buyer's AP system can validate the timbre fiscal against the SAT. That's a legitimate, regulatory reason — exactly the bar the other locale invoices use to choose DataMatrix or Code 128 instead.
