eCMR Consignment Note — German

The German edition of the eCMR family: the same CMR-compliant structure as the French and English editions, in the steel-blue livery of a Swabian forwarder moving a used CNC gantry mill from Esslingen to a plant near Milan.

This edition deliberately exercises the Convention particulars the other two leave empty:

  • A successive carrier, for real. Box 17 names the Italian carrier taking over at the Verona freight village, and the audit trail carries the planned handover as its own timestamped event — the multi-leg case the CMR was written for.
  • The consignee pays. Unfrei — the charges grid puts every amount in the consignee's column, the state the other editions only hint at with dashes. Freight, toll surcharge and the cash-on-delivery fee total 2.545,00 EUR against the receiver.
  • The liability declarations, all loaded. Cash on delivery (12.500,00 EUR to collect before release), declared value under Article 24, and a special interest in delivery under Article 26 tied to the delivery date — the full set of value declarations on one document.
  • Official Frachtbrief German. Frachtführer, Frachtzahlungsanweisungen, "Diese Beförderung unterliegt trotz einer gegenteiligen Abmachung…" — the wording of the German model form, with German box names in the annex, DD.MM.YYYY dates, German number formats (8.090 kg · 19,0 m³) and "1. Ausfertigung" in proper German ordinal style.

As in the whole family, the carrier's logo and the document's accent color are bound from the data file, and the numbered boxes, dual barcodes, eIDAS signature evidence, inspection panel and sealed audit trail come from the shared components.
